driving or not every now and then it cuts out like its out of gas, if my rpms are high it wont die but anything below 1and a half thousand it dies. stop and restart and everythings fine. just changed the fuel filter happens about 10-15 times a day now, becoming a problem. any help will be great, thanks.
Cam position sensor would be my guess, about 160 from ford, about half that from international, easy to change, sensor on from of motor, by water pump, 2 10MM Bolts hold it on.
I got a 01 f350 that did the same thing. Cam sensor was the problem, they said. 3 weeks later it did the same thing again. Turns out there was a spot in the wireing that had rubbed through. Replaced wire harnes and cam sensor, now it run great
