I saw the movie last night. After the first two Prequals I was very happy with this one. I thought it was very good. I highly recommend it. The General Grevious guy was cool.

The best radio takeoff I've heard was the local morning team was talking about Samuel Jackson's character and crossed it with Pulp Fiction.
"Master, which light saber is yours?"
"The one that says 'Bat ***** _______'!"

Thumbs up

Well, I'm a Star Wars junkie and I finally made it to III, yesterday. I love all the movies and have watched them all numerous times. Episode III has got to be the best of all of them. The animation and other special effects tops all of them. This movie was solid action and the culmination of one of the best series of movies to ever be made .. IMHO ... but then again .. I AM an admitted Star Wars junkie.

I took Michelle to see it tonight.

She agrees with it being the best one.

Myself, after now seeing it twice,I have come to the conclusion there is still a missing time period between the end of ROTS & the start of the original Star Wars.

So, no doubt George will be making another to tie everything together.

The one thing I did think was strange was, that Yoda Knew Chewbacca.

Well, it's probably 25 years from the end of ROTS to ANH, guessing at Luke's age.

However, the only thing missing, and which can be concluded, is that the Empire builds a stronger military (Stormtroopers), faster, larger ships, etc. The Emporer and his Sith (Vader) put the galaxy into such oppression that a rebellion is born.

The rebels continue to gain strength (even in the Senate until the Emporer disolves it) and eventually even destroy the new Death Star. Actually that entire last statement takes place in ANH!

I saw it again today and I now have no doubt this is the best!!

I agree about Chewbacca/Yoda, I didn't realize he was so old.

This movie did show that Obi-wan was BAD!!

Actually I did finally think of one thing that isn't explained. In A New Hope Lea is a princess. She was adopted by a Senator. Hmmm.

I enjoyed ROTS alot. Excellent movie from start to end. Though, I also liked Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones as well. But this third installment of the prequel did have alot more action then the previous two, probably the only reason I'd say its the best of the three.

It's easy to set box office records if you jack up the price, (which they did) and open it in every theater on the planet, ( which they nearly did).
Sorry, I,m not a STAR WARS fanatic. but it was OK.

I went on Saturday, to the matinee. Paid $5.50. The nite time price is $7-$8. It's that price no matter what movie is playing. ( The only reason I don't remember the price for nite shows is I don't go at nite... I'm a tight wad .. and I'm home on my puter, either here or on Paltalk.)

I've come to the conclusion that the light saber, while an elegant (and photogenic) weapon, really isn't very effective. What good is it to cut off Anakin's legs but he doesn't bleed to death? A weapon that cuts and instantly cauterizes? "Come back here Obi-Wan - it was only a flesh wound!" Must be the aforementioned aversion to blood in Star Wars.

Personally, I'd have whacked him in half, poked him in the gizzard, etc., but that would have made episodes 4, 5 and 6 too hard to explain.

yeah, i just saw the movie last night. i thought it was pretty good but the old ones are still much better. i think there is too much computer animated stuff in the new ones. the old ones looked great and they didnt have any of the computer stuff in them. but ROTS is alot better than the other two new ones. i'm glad i saw it but im not totally amazed.

I paid $4.00 that is the Matinee price, or the night price. Large combo is $3.75...
