I can't wait for that part of the movie. "Rise. Yes, Master" in that voice of his. Is it the same old JE Jones voice, or is it something new but close? That's classic. I cannot wait..probably see it this weekend with my buddy who's back from basic/first assignment.
It is about 2 hours 20 minutes, and from the beginning yu see things that start to fill small gaps into episode 4. Like Tie fighters and Xwings in the first battle scene, etc.

If that voice wasn't James Earl Jones than they have found a REALLY good imitator
If it has British sounding characters that sound like the cast of "I Claudius" (Like the other 5) I'll pass. I hate all that save the Federation, Princesses, royalty, and I'll check with the Senator and see if he can negotiate a treaty with the Romulans crap!
Give me Aliens that don't make long speeches about honor, destiny and saving the princess. Give me aliens that come at you with every intent to disintegrate my butt. The whole Star Wars saga is one boring science Fiction soap opera.
How could they make 5 movies about intergalatic world war and not not show one drop of blood???
The "crossover" becomes more clear as the movie goes on. The gap from "Attack of the Clones" to ROTS is much smaller than the gap from ROTS to "A New Hope" if that helps with the time frame...
***Spoiler*** If you don't want to know any spoilers, STOP!!
Anakin becomes Darth Vader well into the movie, but doesn't need the suit until about the last 5 minutes...
Yes, I phoned to come see the movie (Why not ? it was only $6.00 cdn) with about a 100 people to share it with.
I was sitting in the Back Row -Center seat.
2 Hours & 16 minutes by my watch (But was dark)
I was at the premier showing of:
Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
The Phantom Menace
& now ROTS
This by far is a great movie.
Most of the stuff I knew was coming which for tying things together before it happened was possible for me.

You've seen the movies, right? There's blood in 4 and 5 that I can tell you exactly where to see it; there's probably blood in the others, but I'll have to think about where it's at. It's funny how different a PG rating was 25 or 30 years ago.
i seen a couple of years back, i think it was for episode one, they had a guy on comedy central who dressed up like spock from star trek, he was walking around the out side of a movie theater were a bunch of the dorks were dressed up like darth vador fliping everyone off and saying star wars sucks. I got a kick out of driving by and yelling stuff at them maybe one day on of them will chase me down in his moms station wagon. I like stars wars but i wouldent dressup and stand around out side for 3 days just to see it.
I'm seeing this tomorrow, but have one burning question for those of you who have seen it....Is the betrayal that turns Anakin into Vader the Federation giving him a Chevy?

I was sitting here reading your post and a Chevy commercial came on and said "You don't eat steak with a butter knife..." If anything they need Darth Vader to come in and take over, maybe they can make a half decent commercial.
I saw the movie last night and it was awesome, I really enjoyed it. I was not a big fan of The Phantom Menace or The Clone Wars but I may go back and watch them again. I think I'll like them better now because I see how they all tie in together. The biggest problem with the first two movies for me is I was lost as to who was who.
This movie is defenitly a must see if you liked the original 3 Star Wars movies.
While on my weekly commute the other day, a radio station was having fun, substituting the word "pants" in some of the lines from the various Star Wars movies...such as in "A New Hope" where Darth puts the invisible choke hold on the officer and says, "I find your lack of 'pants' (faith) disturbing" They did it with several different quotes...it was pretty funny. Another one was from the same film, when Princess Leia sees the Millinnium Falcon for the first time and says, "You came in 'those pants' (that thing)??? You're braver than I thought!
