Campers???
dose any body know if i could tow a camper/travel trailer to the race park for this shindig instead of staying at a hotel? OR bunch of us find a near by camp ground?

The Woodlands will allow camping at the track. I believe they have about 17 spots with electrical hook ups for $20 a night. No water hook ups but they do have a place to fill your tanks. Cabella's down the street has a dump station. There are also some camping places nearby. I think Undertaker has been checking on them. I will check more on it.

Here is the info on camping spots close to the Woodlands.
Campgrounds are available at 7 Hiway and Interstate 70, just to the south a bit. Contact Margret at (913)422-8038. The pricing is 23.00 a night with hookups and if you have Military ID or AAA you get a 10% discount. They have over 100 sites and should be able to handle everyone. This is only a 5-10 minute drive from the Woodlands.

Here's a couple near-by, check one of the mapping sites for specifics. My parents always stayed at Basswoods when they came visiting in their Class-A (powered by a Ford 460, of course!). I've never visited the other, but it shows as pretty close to the Woodlands (which is pretty close to the NASCAR track, Cabelas, Nebraska Furniture Mart, etc....).
