Campers???

dose any body know if i could tow a camper/travel trailer to the race park for this shindig instead of staying at a hotel? OR bunch of us find a near by camp ground?

The Woodlands will allow camping at the track. I believe they have about 17 spots with electrical hook ups for $20 a night. No water hook ups but they do have a place to fill your tanks. Cabella's down the street has a dump station. There are also some camping places nearby. I think Undertaker has been checking on them. I will check more on it.


EDIT*** I pm'd Undertaker about it. Hopefully he will stop in and shed some light on this.

All,

Here's a couple near-by, check one of the mapping sites for specifics. My parents always stayed at Basswoods when they came visiting in their Class-A (powered by a Ford 460, of course!). I've never visited the other, but it shows as pretty close to the Woodlands (which is pretty close to the NASCAR track, Cabelas, Nebraska Furniture Mart, etc....).

the Cottonwood comapgrounds is the one that i have gotten for people. Its off 7 hiway and is about 6 miles from the Woodlands. Rollie posted the info for it!!
