IMS edelbrock #1406
i have a 390 w/C-6 and stock 4bbl manifold. i live at an altitude of 5000 feet. i was curious as to how many turns should i back the IMS? right now they are backed out 2 3/4.
sorry for such a adolescent question, but my other means of transportation just took a crap on me and i'm trying to get something to go to work and back.
p.s. in case you can't tell, yes this my first 4bbl

There is no set adjustment. All engines will react different. Slowly turn them in until the idle starts to drop, then slowly back them out until you get the highest idle. The turn them back in about 1/4 turn.
