Im looking for the bottom pieces that screw to the floor of the cab and the bottom of the seat for my bench seat for my 53 ford.Or anyplace that might sell these. Thanks DJ
I was also looking for the support brackets and found one in So Cal at Bobco for $200.00 so I made my own support. Nothing fancy but it rised my seat up 3 inches. There is one pic in my gallery. I'll take a close up if you need.
Not sure if 1950 seat parts would be the same or not. I have a seat that has been welded to the floor of the cab in my part truck. I would be willing to cut it out and send it to you with a few extra pieces of metal that would need to be ground off. If you don't find anything better let me know and I can get some pictures to you so you can decide if you want them.

Chris,
Thought I was the only one who was unfortunate enough to have a truck where the PO welded the seat tracks to the floor. That was another factor in my decision not to use the original seat...no way to bolt it down. What are people thinking?
Thanks Guys.I would love to see the pictures of the bottom half of the welded seat.Man these things are getting tough to get these days and unless I plan on sitting with an awful lean to the left I better get lucky soon. DJ
I also have a stock seat frame from a 49 F1. I was lucky and mine was not welded in (can you believe what some people do??) Mine is a bare frame (seat back and bottom) with springs that I scrounged out of a wrecking yard and covered with some foam and a mexican blanket to replace the marine style buckets that the PO used (maybe welding in the original would have been better)
I scored a set of buckets (6 way power with lumbar) from a late model Suburban for free. If I remove the headrests they will be perfect
I've got a '53 F100 stock bench seat that I unbolted from my cab which is getting buckets. Tracks, etc. in excellent condition, 1 broken spring to weld, seats need recovering - currently have gray aftermarket vinyl slipcovers. Ugly and slippery.
Will trade for vent window front rubbers, door or back window glass, EZ wiring kit or similar (used OK) 12 volt to 6 volt converter to run all the stuff I don't want to convert, electric wiper motor (12V) or spray painting lessons or ???
I'm in central North Carolina, sorry, no shipping.
I would really love to purchase the lower portion of your seats from you. As in the part that bolts to the floor and the lower part of the seat. Please reply. Thanks DJ
