i have a loose timing chain in my 95 F150. It is a 302 with 150,000 miles on it. what im wondering is would a new timing chain give me back any of the old power. If not what can i do to get some power out of the old girl... i can't afford a rebuild or a 460. hahahahaha maybe some day down the road though. any tips would be helpful

depends how bad but in most cases yes it will give you back some lost power as a streched chain affects cam timing but to test an engines base condition do a compression check and cylinder leakdown test this is the only way to get a good reading on engine potential
