hard steering
I am experiencing hard steering on my 2002 f350. The powersteering works fine when it is moving but when it is sitting still it seems like it has no power to turn the wheel. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

My 93 F-150 was the same way. It was just that the tie rod ends and ball loints were bone dry. I lubed them up and it was fine for a few weeks, then it came back. I finally replaced all the tierods and everything is fine. Also, probably from the extra load on the steering, the gearbox itself had to be tightened up a bit. Now, its like driving a new truck.

Cheap as I am I would try a flush and fill first. Harold at the Power Brake X-change knows all and tells all. (800) 580-5729 A small family outfit in Pgh. Pa., They are a factory authorized rebuilder and parts distributor. Every time I go there a dealers truck is picking up or dropping off and I'm there almost every day(his leterrcarrier). Give him a try mon -fri till 4:30
