This was our first Supernats, and we had a great time. It was a last minute decision and we had to take the car but we still had fun. We were only there one day but the weather was perfect. The people were really nice with a layed back atmosphere. The women were hot the beer was cold and some of them people sure talked funny....
???? A very good friend of mine who lives in Sevierville Tenn. said it was raining really hard there? In fact, they were going to do a photo shoot for Classic Trucks on his 53 and they cancelled it due to the rain. Was it raining at the Nats?
Wish you coulda made it. I saw registration numbers of 700 something.
Truck of the year, I left before the award but out of the four on the hill only 2 had Ford power. One that was GM powered probably bought the show beacuse the word going around was there was 400K in that little trailer ****, opps I mean queen.
trailer **** 400k? Thats street rod territory. Shame the biggest all ford truck event can't even award trophies to their own brand. But then again maybe I'm the only one bothered by the fact. Glad a good time was had by all, -4speed

I was only there on Friday and the weather was good. I also saw numbers in the 700's but it didn't seem like that many. There was a large numbers of vendors. BTW, there was one thing that was bad, the spectator parking. There was zero parking on the grounds. I finally parked in a motel parking lot for $5.00. There was a huge parking lot reserved for Falcons, but there were only about 30 of them in this large parking lot. BTW, the Falcon Ranchero's are pretty cool.

A group got together after the Nats Thursday and Friday night for some food and a discussion of world issues. This group included G-Man and his wife Carol, PJ55 and his bride Sharon, Purple55 (Mr no replacement for displacment) and his wife Audrey, MTflat and his Tammy, and myself and my bride Phyliss.
A good time was had by all, although John (PJ55) did do some finger pointing . Mike (MTflat) coined the phrase "It ain't no fun if your truck don't run" . My wife liked a sign on the back of a effie that said "Do you believe in love at first sight, or do I need to drive by again? "
There was a good varity of vendors there and parts were bought by this group for sure. Some of the girls went shopping Saturday and the guys tried to make up for lost time by buying parts like crazy. Phyliss and I went very easy through the whole event, we only designed the whole interior over again and bought all the parts to do that with .
By tonight I will try to post some pics, but because we are doing interior stuff most of mine are interiors.

I was there Saturday, AWESOME show, beautiful place for a show too.
It rained HARD on us going home that afternoon around Cleveland Tn. Other than that it was off and on light showers.
I left Saturday AM without being at the show that day, which is usually the biggest (and wettest) day.
Based on my Wed/Fri visits, it seemed like entries were down a bunch; the number of 700 seems to verify that. Other opinions?
Glad to meet you guys & wives in the evenings. Maybe we can all meet the trucks next year! Got to talk with Pat Ford; he stayed next to us at the motel...he and his staff are sure busy during show week!
Found some used but nice running boards for Mutt Wednesday, so I had a successful parts trip also.
Glad I brought Mr. Moby to carry the boards home in the trunk. What a huge trunk.
Seemed like even more % of Ford engines also. Every year since I began going (98) more and more have Ford engines. Amen.
