Heater core

I believe I seen on here before that if I get a thin layer of crud on my window when the heat or defrost is on .....? then my core is gone or is it just a lose hose maybe ......For the last few months the defrost has sucked so something was a miss ....Thx for the help ...Tony

i had the same problem . a new heater core fixed it. $34 canadian. now i get cooked out of my truck and no steamy windows(except at drive-in

I agree it is the heater core. They aren't expensive and on an 87 Bronco II they are easy to change.
