I have a 1991 F150 4x4 5.8L EFI with a E4OD transmition (120,000 miles). I spent $700 at Ford last summer on this transmition and it is on its last leg. All the shops in my area want more than I think the truck is worth to rebuild it. I realy don't need overdrive and I don't like the E4OD.
Is there an older 3 speed auto that will bolt up to the engine and transfere case?
If not is there a manual that will?
Being the 351 is a small block, I would think a C-6 or a AOD would bolt up, but I am not sure that the 13-56 would bolt up. I know you would have to get another driveshaft.
