high speed vibration

Also it doesnt do it all the time...seems more often after warm.
It reminds me of when the older 150s had the auto locking hubs that would auto lock going down the road!

Sounds like your experianceing "shudder". Do a search for that, or maybe someone with more knowledge on this problem will chime in.

as in a trans shudder??? Had this on a ranger once before but this doesnt seem the same.

Yes, that's what I was refering too. Hmmm...... I wonder if your downpipe or something else is hitting somewhere?

could happen easily too since space is very limited here.
my 96 has similar drone to it. cannot figure it out yet.
but mine will do it in nuetral or drive seems to be between 12-2000 rpm, it is very anoying @ 40 because i am not in OD yet and it resonates through the floors and steering wheel.

well today I noticed it even worse. The only thing I had different was I had the tonnau cover open. (Got a Pace Edwards Roll TOp) THinking a bad wheel bearing maybe??? GOnna look into it more tomorrow. It also does it at a coast so that rules out the trans.

Ah, I didn't mean it that way. Are motors are 444ci, hence the "good #" and the number of posts that you currently had at the time I posted that comment. Sorry if I offended you, no harm meant.
