Parking Brake Failure
Pulled up on the handle of my 95 Aerostar's parking brake, felt a pop then handle went vertical. Checked inside the housing and everything seems hooked up ok, but the wheel which rotates as the handle is pulled doesn't rotate with the cable. Thinking of geting a replacement handle from the local bone yard. What do you think?

Did you check the linkage underneath from the brake to the rear wheels? One of the lines could have snaped or there is a part about half way to the rear wheels that tends to rust where the one line splits into to. Once you are sure about the part, go to the junkyard and start hunting for a good one. Dealer only item.
