Parking brake Shoes

Has anyone replaced their parking brake shoes on a 2004 250. I am thinking that this might be to much to handle on your own with the rear axle and hub in the way

If you have not driven with the parking brake on they should be good for the life of the truck. They hold the truck still after it is stopped. They don't stop it.

Right the shoes are in good shape the problem is one of the hold down springs came loose and the hardware is all broken. all i have to do is replace the hardware kit.

Is there a way to adjust the parking brake? Mine will not hold. 2005 f350 cc lariat drw bone stock.

the book i have is a chiltons and its not really detailed but it shows an adjusting screw for them.i'd google it, youll come up with something.shouldnt be no biggie changing the hardware on those either.
