A few days ago while on my way to work, I was waiting at a stop sign, looking to make a left turn and that's when I saw it.......
As I looked to make the left turn, I saw a blue late model toyota corolla and another car behind it. The corolla turned right, into my neighborhood, but at the same time it went straight. How can this be? It turns out there was an identical corolla behind it, that for some odd reason, I didn't notice. So it looked as if the corolla "divided", and made a copy of itself that kept going straight instead of turning.
That being said, I know many of you have seen strange occurances such as this. Feel free to share......
I see stuff like that sometimes... the other night I was driving at night, and two headlights came up behind me pretty close... I had the mirror flipped up so I could pretty much only see the lights, not the vehicle. Then the headlights started drifting apart, like the car was stretching out wider. It was just two motorcycles.
An elderly man that lives in neighborhood has a 1977 Ranchero and occasionly hauls scrap iron with it for a friend of his to keep busy and make a little extra money. One day when coming down my street I saw what looked like a car upside down on top of another car coming to the front of the street. I turned in my driveway and went sit on my tailgate to wait and see what it was. Turns out the old man and his friend loaded a camaro upside down on top of his Ranchero, strapped it down and was bringing it to the scrapyard. The funny part is that he made it there without getting stopped. I was riding with some folks, stopped at a toll booth, they're devided by those cement barriers about 3ft high. there was a camero on the back of a flat bed two truck, but it was at exactly the right height to look like it was driving on the TOP edge of the barrier. I wasn't the only person to notice either, when the truck pulled forward a buddy thought it was driving on the barrier too. :-P
I remember seeing a video, maybe one one of those home video programs on the tube, where this guy's going down the freeway with his wife asleep in the passenger seat. He comes up behind a car that's being towed backwards behind a towtruck, so he's looking at the front end of the car. He grabs his wife and shakes her, and starts screaming. She wakes up and sees the front end of this car pointed at them through the windshield and starts screaming too, till she wakes up enough to realize what's happening and her husband starts laughing. Now THAT was funny! -TD
I saw a kid trying, or i should say "attempting" to light a cigarette of his exhaust pipe. I honked the horn and held up a lighter and kept driving. he drives a 4 door primered/spray painted honda with a body kit thats super glued on in areas...
I had a similar experience as Woogs', except I was in a schoolbus and it was a lomborghini on the back of a hauler. All i saw was the wheels up and for the first few seconds couldn't figure out what was happening, until it pulled ahead. Apparently my friend noticed it becuase he was the one who caught my attention with his cry of HOLY S***!
There was this video on the net of an elderly couple driving along and they go to pass another vehicle and they stop at the drivers window of the vehicle being passed, and the old lady in the passenger seat grabs a steering wheel from behind and starts steering. When the old guy in the other car notices, she cuts a hard right and so does he....right into the ditch
Not what I saw but---
Years ago I worked for a large truck leasing co. It was not unusual to come in in the morning and have a truck pulled up in the lot with the lights on, running, and the driver laying over the wheel asleep. This was back when here on the east coast all you saw was cabover trucks. We would go in the back lot, get another truck and pull up as close as possiable in front of the parked truck. Then we would pull the air horn and waite for the reaction! I have been chased around the lot on quite a few ocasions, but it was worth it to see the look of pure terror on that drivers face.
