You can and unless you are gonna change fiberglass supports behind the headlights, you will be doing a lot of cutting. I did it and it looks sweet, look at the pictures below...
Ya you have to get new pigtails as the new lights are H13's. I just cut off the old ones and soldered on the new ones. Haven't had any problems yet. I was lucky enough to have the pigtails included when I purchased my headlights, I heard they are expensive.
Has anyone had a problem such as I have, that the headlights are turning white.
Do you have a source for purchasing replacement lenses.....????
Thank you for any information about this.
Hello to all. I did the headlight conversion abut 2 months ago. I have not had a problem with any of the wiring. Except trying to find pigtails to fit the h-13 bulb.
Here are a few pics:
Sorry if the pics are too big.
I wanted to get the Harley Davidson lights, but they were a little too expensive.
I need to send a pic, but I just bought a 2002 F250, and it does not look stock. It looks like the 05 a bit but not quite. It looks like the yellow turn signal was changed to a clear turn signal.
I will try to send a pic soon, this is my first post.

Reason: misprint
The newer SD's use a clear turnsignal with a yellow bulb from the factory. I think this started in 01 and went through 04. The headlights are also a lot clearer on these models. If it has been changed to an 05 headlight, you would see quite a bit of cutting on the headlight mounting panel.
I found the pigtails at the local junk yard. Ford told me that they were not available at the time I did my conversion. I think mine came off a 05 Saturn car of some type. I took the bulb with me to match up.
