i have an 86 f150 302 i replaced the aod tranny with a c6. The C6 has a modulator valve whereas the aod didnot. Where should i plug the vacum line into the fuel injection system. I also have a problem with it overheating and blowing fluid back out any ideas

Reason: dont sound right
The vacum line gets hooked up the the manifold tee in the back of the intake. As far as blowing fluid out, do you mean the c6... If so, do a fluid and filter change on it. Also, on the torqe converter there is a drain plug so you can drain that too.
thank you for response but i dont have manifold tee. i have a fuel injected system. curently have plugged into port off of throttlebody with about 5 other hoses.

You want manifold vacumn to the modulator. Where you get it really doesn't matter as long as it isn't connected to a vacumn cannister that doesn't let the vacumn drop when accelerating. Just make sure the vacumn port you connect to has vacumn at idle.
After changing the fluid in the trans and converter install an external trans cooler to help with cooling if you do any towing.
i should of probably included this in the begining. The C6 came out of another truck. this was a running truck until it got totaled. I am figuring that it was is the installer fault for any worng doings (me). the overheatring and etc.
Are you saying that the transmission cooler lines are too hot to touch? The transmission runs at around 200 degrees anyway.
My '83 with 351 and C6 has an optional fluid cooler in front of the A/C condenser. It gets very hot, and the fluid goes from there to the radiator cooler. If not careful, you can get burned easily.
You said it runs fine when cold.... does it have "drivability" problems after it gets warmed up?
When installing the C6 did you drain /add fluid in the process? Any possibility you put too much in? Normally you check the tranny dipstick when it's warm, but I take it that is where fluid is blowing out.
