OK does that rear plate house the RMS and if it does can it be removed and is that where the rear o-ring goes. I also noted that the 6 Bolts can not be removed if they are the entire crank has to be replaced and i bet some mech have accidently done this and has caused some folks nothing but grief.

I had my rear main replaced twice with a rear cover reseal for a 'precautionary' leak.. If they had just left it alone and done just the RM, it all would have been OK on the first attempt, but the rear cover developed a leak later on due to the reseal! After a couple of attempts it was dry.. The 6.0 Bible can be downloaded for free and saved to disc/hard drive ect.. Link below should take you there.. Its a large file and will take some time..
