Thanks Nitro94 for replying to my ballast resistor post. I'm pretty certain you were right, I tested the ballast resistor for continuincy (homemade setup cuz I don't have a multi-meter) and It was fine. I also checked the ign. switch -- all good. So I've removed the ign. module and I'm taking it to Canadian tire to replace. Thanks for the help, sorry to any Canadian tire techs who read my other post.
by the way, what do these units usually run for?
I'm not sure about the Duraspark 3, but Duraspark 2 Modules run between $45 and $50 at Crappy Tire, I imagine the 3 plug Duraspark 3 setup would be more, and they probably wouldn't have it in stock either.

Thanks for the help guys. I got the part last night, installed it this morning and I was able to drive the truck for the first time in 4 years!
Now I gotta do some body work and get the clutch and brakes tuned up.
