I was driving my Ranger yesterday along a straight stretch of road at about 50 mph when suddenly a head of me I saw another Ranger, about a 2000 or so, turn sideways, spinning across the road and slamming into an import truck. Everybody got stopped okay, no one was hurt. I looked over the Ranger and the extent of his damage was a broken taillight and a wrinkle in the side of the bed. Where the taillight used to be was a bit buggered up, and the tailgate had come open and the latch was a bit bent on that side so that it wouldn't shut, but all in all it wasn't too bad. Now the import truck...that was another matter. The entire side was wiped out, almost looked like it had rolled onto its side. I talked to the old boy in the Ranger while we waited for the CHP, he said it felt like he had hit something that caused him to spin, but there was no other damage to his truck and nothing in the road. I thought maybe he HAD been hittin' somthing, namely the sauce, but he didn't seem chemically impared, just dazed. I don't know, looked pretty freaky from my perpsective when it happened...suddenly this white Ford is sideways across the highway in front of me! So, how was your day....? -TD
