$1.99 Gas!!!

I was shocked when I drove by the station on the way home from shopping! Maye prices are going to go back down, considering that it was $1.99 on a Friday afternoon after they have inflated the price. Since around here on Friday morning at 2am they raise prices for the people getting their paychecks and filling up. It's all good though!

Wally World was running a special last weekend, 10 cents off with the shopping card, and the regular price was $1.99, so thast made $1.89, good thing the tank was dry...

Diesel was down to 2.08 yesterday, good thing my 38 gallon tank was dry. It is still high, but alot better than 2.30. I fill up 2-3 times a week, so 2.30 was killing me.

I heard there was a gas station in Oklahoma who's gas prices never went above $1.99.9/10. It was because there pumps were so old, they could'nt put a 2 in front. Pumps did'nt have a $2. Just to long of a drive for me though.

Send some of that my way. It's $2.19 for regular, and $2.14 for premium. We have a small station downtown that has a couple pumps, but mainly specializes in farm repair/services. This year they had to make a makeshift sign so they could put a 2 up in front instead of a 1. They sat at $1.99 for a long time.

It's at $1.86 on the corner EZ Mart, the brand names are all over $2. It's dropped about 15 cents in the last week or two.

You know they've got us when we start thinking it's a GREAT thing to be able to pay JUST $1.86 for a gallon of gas. Unfortunately, I'm there! I WISH it were that CHEAP in my area!

Yeah, I'll take some too. Ours got up to $2.63 for regular at El Cheepo stations, and then held at $2.61. Now it's all the way down to $2.59 and holding...and holding...! -TD
