I have heard of that before. Here in Montana, as long as it is street legal, left side mirrior, horn, license plate and license plate light. You can drive it on the highway and in town. Oh yea, you need a motorcycle/3 wheeler-4 wheeler endorsement on your drivers license. I ride mine around town to go shopping and visit friends. I have even rode it to Church one day.

Is it legal in any other states or just here?

Tom

Me and a guy at work here in ohio have been lookin into that for awhile now. We've asked a few cops/sherrifs, some say its possible, others say no way.

I tried a Honda ATV two years ago, almost drove the darn thing into a tree! Couldn't get used to steering it after riding dirt-bikes for the last 23 years

But then, the stability is nice, I threw myself over the handlebars of my Honda enduro ('89 NX 650) on wet grass about 6 months later...

in idaho all you have to have is a horn mirror and license and you can ride them on the highway. cops usually dont bother you here even if you dont have a horn or mirror.
