Hello everyone. I need to remove the upper intake on my 88 F150 351W to replace the valve cover gaskets. I wondered if anyone had pointers on this. It seems that the bolts under the intake could be hard to get to. Do I need to put a new gasket on the upper intake also?
Thanks for the help!

Yes , Replace the gasket and make sure no pieces of the old one is left . Most of the time they come off pretty easy , but there is always the exception . My preference is swivel sockets for hard to reach nuts and bolts . They are worth the investment . I got an Sae and Metric set from Mac ...worth every penny .
