i just got off the phone w/BD and he says add 200 degress cause im post turbo...any ideas on that? 1050-1100 degrees sounds about rite to me
Thing is, your actual temp could be 200-500 degrees off, depending on boost, ambient air temps, speed, load, etc. So going uphill like that you may have been in the safe zone, or you may have been in the red. It's hard to tell with a post turbo mounted probe. Remember that heat is energy, so a lot of the exhaust heat is absorbed by the turbo itself.
