Edge Products customer service

I have had an Edge Juice/Attitude combo for a while now. About 2 months ago, I broke the connector going to from the Juice to the monitor, and had to repair it by installing a 9 pin serial connection into the line. About a month afterwards, upon taking the box out of the truck, a pin broke off the line going to the PCM inside the connector (the pin was on the Edge box) and the Edge box was useless. Seeing that it had coolant corrosion in the connector, and that the box was out of warranty, I figured I was out of luck. I sent the box and monitor back to Edge, with a friendly letter explaining what happened, hoping they would fix it. I did'nt even include all the parts, not even a receipt of purchase, I just wanted it fixed to where it was usable again (hopefully)

Low and behold, I get a package from Edge today. Seeing my old box upon return, I figured nothing had been done to it. I was quite surprised to find an entire brand new unit in the box- all parts included (even some stuff I didn't send back). Brand new- with an April build sticker on it

I am writing them a thank-you letter now. I haven't been impressed with the Edge's transmission performance, but as far as good safe power (with the engine) the unit is great. I will give credit where credit is due- that is some GREAT customer service. I would definately recommend the unit to anyone who has a 6-speed manual, or anyone who wishes to run the Edge on an auto with an SCT stack tune. Motorhaven now carries them too (and the SCT)

If anyone from Edge Products is reading this, I am a very happy customer...

That is cool, it's always great to hear that some companies appreciate their customers.

Hey PSD....
I saw the title of your thread, and thought, uh-oh, but it wasn't what I expected, that makes me, and I am sure a whole lot more people feel pretty good about Edge stuff... pretty cool, I must say.

I agree with PSD. I bought my Juice used, they updated it for free. I purchased the Attitiude, then I insisted on forcing a grommet over the connector and broke a pin, they fixed it for free and installed the grommet before installing a new connector. Though I do like the product and power delivery (not tranny performance as stated above) I find when I call them, I cant get any technical answers. It almost seems like whoever develops the product isnt around or didnt train anyone else. But mine were more questions out of curiousity than need.

I hear ya... whoever answered the phone when I called had no answers whatsoever for me, I got far more information out of PSD 6.0! And he isn't even making money on the deal! But yes, I concur about the product.

Is there a degree that teaches people how to fit a gas-turbine into their superduty?

What kind of engineering are you looking at? (I am guessing Mecahnical or Automotive)
Are you looking at getting into the automotive industry?
