I did a little off roading this past sunday and ran my truck on level 5 on the edge/juice. I got a little out of control with it and just got on the throttle on loose dirt and mud, i remember my truck stalling once with the tranny being engaged on drive after getting stuck in a rutt, it seemed like the tranny didnt know which gear to shift into and the engine shut off. After it stalled i put it in park and started it back up and the tranny ever since then takes about 3 to 4 seconds to engage into gear whether if i put it in drive or reverse. It shifts fine once it finally engages (i have the sct tranny tune) but its that time it takes to finally engage im concerned about, if everything else works fine and shifts fine but lags when engaging then what could be the culprit? Im sure my warranty is probably voided now but if something is going to start going wrong id rather get it fixed and pay for it now then later. Please help me out here any ideas? Thanx guys
btw I decided to reload the Max Torque tune and switched the edge back to zero. IMO that extreme setting on the edge seems to be extremely brutal on the power train, its just to much instant power and probably not a good idea on loose mud where it just revvs real high way to quick. i hope i didnt learn the hard way
whats up Matt, actually no it still does it, but the shifts still feel pretty crisp so i dont know. What do you think it might be? thanks for the help.
