Fuel injector cleaner
yesterday i bought some GUMOUT fuel injector/carburetor cleaner, it was 2.19 so i figured what the hell you know, cant hurt and it might help a little, since i prolly have older injectors anyways. well it's supposed to help fuel mileage, but i burnt up around an eighth of a tank of gas going to school and back today, it's about a 6 or 7 mile round trip

the problem with injector cleaner is that is a synthetic blend and when you use a synthetic blend trucks or cars tend to depend on it like a crack head dose crack it acts all stupid if you stop using i learned this with all my vehicles Seafoam dosent use so much synthetic as standard efi cleaners hence why i havent had any problems from my 93 mustang lx 5.0 , 87 f150 i300 efi, or my 76 f250 460 tow truck you best bet is to stay away from stuff that uses a lot of synthetic blending ecspcially if it s an older truck i would say 96 or below there motor was made to run with standard oil and gas not synthetic the only synthetic i have seeb that helps trucks or cars is penzoil highmileage man i love it dosent have alot of synthtic but it really dose help with older trucks i use it in my tow truck.
