Almost Got stollen

Sometime last night my truck got violated, Someone tryed to still it. From the way it looks they weren't to bright,I still have my truck! N-E-Ways now I have to change the ignition, one problem, it has been so beat up I don't know how I can get it out to reaplace it? So I'm asking if anyone could give me a suggestion, I can't get it out of park, or even turn the ignition at all.

Try searching for "ignition lock removal without key"; I think it has been covered recently with pretty good detail. Also Haynes has procedure in their 87-96 truck manual.

Thanks, but already got it out,I tried the Haynes and I thought it said "without a key you should have a dealer ship or other facilaty replace it" but that didn't make sence beings I couldn't start it,n-e-ways thanks!
