Tranny swap
To anyone wondering,yes the swap can be made.
It will require a 3 and 1/2 in lengthen to the driveline,shaving 1/2 inch off of the rear cross member,adding a throttle position cable,and a modification to the shift linkage and neutral safety switch.This will only work on a 91 or older. The transmission can be as old as 1970's The total cost with a salvage transmission for mine was under $400 for a proven strong transmission,which is a lot better than $800-$2200
for a transmission proven to be troublesome.It requires no computer change what so ever.
