Hi Guys, does anyone know or have torque and hp curves for the 300, 302 and 351's that are efi'd? I want to print these off and compare with a Few Bowtie buddy's. They don't believe the 300 is a better engine than the 4.3L...etc, Thanks guys

The EFI 300 six is manufacturer rated at 260/265 torque at 2000 RPM and 150/145 hp at 3400 RPM. The difference is depending upon which rear axle. I obtained some other torque readings for this engine off this site about 6 months ago and they seem to fit the manufacturer's figures fairly well: 225t @1000RPM; 255t @1900RPM; and 260t @2500. Figure the hp from this:
HP = Torque * RPM / 5252
Go to the library (or bookstore) and look at the big Chilton's manual on Ford light trucks. They have the hp and torque peak mnfrs ratings listed for all the motors.
Oh yeah. Turn the hp equation around to get torque at 3400. It's 224 ft lbs. This beast has a pretty flat torque curve. It pulls good and hard from about 2000 up to the high 3000s. Pulls OK below 2000, but I suspect the hp is too low in that range. I noticed with my EFI'd 300 six that I step on it and around 2000 there is a noticable power boost.
