Anyone ever try "RUST BULLET"
I bought a very nice 2001 PSD crew 4x4 and even though it is in great shape there is still some rust started under the drivers door and the tailgate bottom lip. I went to rust bullet after a search for something to be applied on and neutralize the rust and seal it and this stuff sounds good! Anyone ever try it?? Basically you scrape the area with a wire brush and remove flakes, clean with wax & grease remover and dry. Then apply a fairly heavy coat of rust bullet and let it soak into the area to be done. Then wait 4 hours and apply your second coat to SEAL the spot and thats it. You must wait 72 hours to apply any other paint over the top such as matching body color. I think Im going to try it before it gets to far gone, hell it cant hurt. They have a small starter kit which is fine for me and its like $ 22.00 with shipping. Comes with two small cans of rust bullet, two brushes, two pair rubber gloves and instructions.
