I just started work on a 1981 F100 Step-side, I have gotten the engine into running order and would like to first restore it to its original condition, and two add a few extras, i am looking for some pictures of what it is supposed to look like both inside and out, the current color of the outside is rust (going to paint fire-engine red0 and the inside is maroon. Anyone have any pictures or other resources that could help me??
Well what I like to do when I'm bored, because I'm a Ford junkie/geek, is I like to look for flareside pictures in the classifieds. Go to autotrader.com, and look up 80-86 1/2 ton pickups, without any price limitations. Some will have pics, some won't. Actually I just looked in some files, and it looks like I have a picture from an ad that I saved, it's kinda fire engine red, but tore up. :-) I'll try to send it to ya.
Goodluck!

lol Cool, we're all starting to come out of the woodwork. I enjoy looking at these trucks, even the ones that are priced way to high, or the ones that I can only day dream about. ;-) Thanks for the tip Gary, I'm going there right now. :-)
