NC Chapter Meeting
I just wanted to inform and/ or remind everyone that the first official North Carolina chapter meeting will be held on Saturday May 7th at 1:00PM. We will gather at the Trade Mart gas station on Route 24 in Carthage, NC and go from there. For those interested, Carthage has their annual Buggy Festival that same day which begins at 10:00AM.
Unfortunately, I can only stay until 3:00, as I have friends who are holding a surprise 30th birthday party for my wife that evening. However, I hope to have a chance to meet everyone before I have to go.
For all those interested, please come on by. If you need directions, please check the Carthage website, or I believe Jwilson0265 can be of help as he has been there before (hope you don't mind that I've nominated you for this task).
Also, when you have a monet, please forward your contact information to me for inclusion in our members list. I hope to have enough copies for everyone on Saturday. See you then.

Anybody who plans to arrive early to enjoy the festival prior to our 1:00 gathering, let me know. If all goes as planned, I'm hoping to get there sometime between 10 and 11 to enjoy the festivities.

I'm hoping to have time to type up the meeting minutes this evening, and I will email them to everyone interested once they are completed. Just briefly, we had four of us show up and a lot of good ideas and questions thrown across the table.
One of which I'd actually like to talk with jowilker about in depth a little more (the possibility of doing some group gatherings of FTE members and NCFTO members). I'll try to call you about it as soon as I have some time, which will likely be the beginning of next week.
