My 1981 F100
[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 20-Jul-00 AT 05:49 AM (EST)[/font][p]Ok so i got it running, and got a new exaust system (300 bucks, damn that sucks) and now i can drive it but even though it is an automatic it won't change gears, I filled the transmission fluid already...is it a shot transmision or could it be something in the vacuum system??

Hard to say, even if the vacuum doesn't work and your modulator is shot, you still should be able to get the tranny to shift by letting off the gas. Definately check to make sure your vacuum hoses to the tranny are clear, then invest a few bucks in a new modulator before taking it to the chop shop.
