Question on chip and overall setup

Alright guys I am over from the Excursion board. I just got rid of my 2000 X PSD w/ 36in PJ's. My question is now where do I go. I have been reading, and I am thinking about getting a 02 PSD CC LWB. I wanna go with 4in lift and 35's. Now my big question is the engine. I have a Bully Dog flip chip in my X w/ an afe intake and a 4in exhaust. I loved the flip chip so I know I want that, and I want a 5in exhaust, but from there I dont know. What is the best flip chip. I just know I want a lot of hp for smoking those little ricers here in VA. I have gauges already so thats taken care of. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks for your time and sorry its so loooonnggg.

I'm an OBS guy, so what I know of Superduties I've picked up on forums, or from my son in law, who has one. He's shopped around, and really likes his six position chip from Jody Tipton. From what I've heard, he's the best programmer around, with the possible exception of Tony Wildman. Tony built my programs, and they rock!!

Call Jody up www.dp-tuner.com or www.beansdieselperformance.com actually sells dp-tuner chips in a 1,2,3,4,6 postition variety.
I read a couple threads about the TS chips having problems with the PATS system on the X's. Ill see if I can find them.

I can hook you up with a 6 position SCT chip that will rock your world. Stock, 4 power settings + kill switch setting. No PATS problems with X's.

Well I got rid of the X, but I am getting a 250 that is why I was wondering what kind of setup to go w/ on the 250. Can you piggyback like a chip and a programmer, or is taht just asking the engine to do too much.

you cant have a predator and a chip at the same time, well i guess you could, but it would just be running off the chip.

on the other hand you can stack a 10k or similar mod with the chip or programmer

You just answered a question that I was wanting to know, thanks. The SCT is the way we are going with my dad's 6.0 and I was wondering if there any issues with the X's and the SCT, I have read lots of good experiences with the SCT on the 6.0's but havent seen anything on the 7.3's but it sounds like they work just as good on them. Ill have to check that out.

The 10k is the size of resistor that can be put inline with the ICP and it tricks the PCM into increasing the preasure to the injectors, good for around. 18k is another variation of it and can be adjustable depending on how its set up. The down side is that sometimes it can cause a surge when you are slowing to a stop and at idle when stopped. Some versions use a throttle activated switch that will cut the resistor off when the throttle is not pressed.

I am planning on getting a chip in the next 4-6 months and was looking intently at one of those Edge Juice with the Attitude monitor. Not totally sure yet but I am kind of liking what I am seeing so far. http://www.motorhaven.com/product.ph...cat=336&page=1

ICP is the injector control pressure and PCM is the computer.
Check out THIS web site. On the left click on F350 then half way down the page will be 10k Mod, it will tell you more and give you some pictures of the plug.
