transmission identification

I have a 4 speed tranny in my 78 4x4. The outer case is cracked and I need to identify which one I have.

where is the pto cover ?
smooth cast iron case or a ribbed case?

does it have the granny 1st? overdrive? iron case or aluminum?

I have always considered 1st gear as the Granny gear.

Does Ford have a transmission called the granny gear trans?

manual transmission identification

The pto cover is on the passenger side, and the case is smooth.
