So I placed an online order with Jack-it, Inc on 4/5/2005 and still haven't received my order. After a week of waiting I sent them an email asking about my order. They said it wasn't in stock and was being drop shipped from the manufacturer. I've sent 3 more emails since then with no response, and still haven't received my order.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, and also give everyone a chance to post up their bad experiences so others don't get burned.
Tomorrow, I will be on the phone with them and will be getting my money refunded.
Bwahahahahahahahaaha! You placed an order on the 5th and haven't received it? Maybe Pro can tell you about his experience today with Schaffer's Offroad. He called me flipping out . . . good times and I should be laughing but I've been waiting 2 months on my stubs too. "Uh, they're shipping tomorrow so you should have them any day now!" Still not as bad as the beadlocks I ordered in September and finally got in February. I suppose these things happen.
What did you order from these guys? I've never heard of the company before.
Holy Hell. DON'T get me started. I ordered about two grand worth of stuff from Shaffers Offroad well over two months ago. I was told I would have everything in under three weeks. Since then they've sent me the wrong parts, and given me the runaround on the parts I'm still waiting on. What put me over the edge was a couple of weeks ago I was told "there was an unexpected delay, but your axles are being black oxide coated today and will ship a couple days from now". So last friday I call since I still don't have them, and was told "there was an unexpected delay, but they are shipping today and I will get you a tracking number before the days out..they are coming 2nd day express and you will have them in two days". Never got a tracking number. Call monday for the tracking number, nobody knows their head from a hole in the ground. Now the kicker, they return my call today and say, get this "your axles are being black oxide coated today and will ship a couple days from now". Sound familiar? It was about that point that I unloaded on them. It takes awhile for me to get pissed off but this put me right over the edge. The saga continues...
I ordered new a new poly bushing set for my front leaf springs, shackles, etc.
Pro,
You saying this doesn't make me feel better about my order.....21 days and no bushings, its really putting a damper on my project, sorry to hear of your bad luck.
Don't be skeeered others, speak now or forever hold your peace...

I ordered spring bolts and bushings from jack-it 2 or 3 years ago, and had them in about a week. It is a shame to see their business has went downhill
Yeah, so Weld doesn't make the 17x12 Stonecrusher anymore...haven't for about a year. There's not another one at a dealer in this country. So, I can't get rid of the other three I have........................................
Week, Cody? You've been whining about that cotton-pickin wheel issue for a month now. Maybe if you weren't doing 4-lo burnouts with 'tires too large for the wheel' you wouldn't have had the problem in the first place. Jus' ribbin ya...I'd still be burnt too...

You know if I could even do burnouts in 4 low, I wouldn't be upset. At least I'd have some power to go with the rest of the package. I'm not worried about the ribbin'. I am a chronic complainer/whiner/etc. so I don't take it personally.
6 1/2 more weeks before the Stocktons show up. IF they show up. Maybe I shouldn't have posted in this thread...now I'm freaked out!! I've paid for them already and they better show!!!
And that's the worst part! He can't even weld the Weld's together cuz they're freakin' aluminum. There' GOT to be something cool you can do with em. How much are you askin for the remaining 3? Did you do a doubler or a twin TC, or just leave it stock?
I ordered my tires and wheels from rough country suspensions and they took about a month and a half to get here. I know that isnt that bad but still...
dude! with those wheels being discontinued that is in your favor! sell them on e-bay and mark them as spares! you might find 3 ppl that need a spare wheel! i know i would be looking and if they have been discontinued they can't be looking at Weld to get the wheels from!
Cody, put some crappy tires on those rims and sell them with a piece of glass. Instant coffee table.
I'd buy one if the tire was big enough. ha ha.
My experience lately isn't near as bad as any of yours but i bought some parts from rubicon express for my SD early last week. They charged me immediately for it, then shipped it out like 3 or 4 days later with the wrong address. I called 2 times and got this guys voicemail, both times I left messages saying to call me back, you screwed up my address. (I said it in a more polite manner). Anyways, UPS finally called me up last night and said they didn't know where it was going so I gave them the right address. Hopefully my stuff is on my doorstep as we speak. I know, definitely not bad but it still irks me when people can't return a simple phone call.....
For the record, I work for a computer company (won't dare say which one) and we have customers that wait months on end for products. Funny how they could go to a retail store get our product yet we can even get it here.
