i dont understand why this kit cost so much more than everyone elses. the 4.5 kit is double if not more than all the other kits, and it doesnt include shocks just brackets no springs either at around a 1000 dollars.

from what i have heard the edge kit is very "beefy", but the guys who design/build it know what they are doing. i got a fabtech 3.5 on board now
and at the time was abt 500.00 w/shocks & they threw in a twin steering
stabilizer for free! so far its worked great w/35s.

shocks came with it. they let me choose which color of boots(blue of course).
stabilizer shocks/boots same thing...
as far as the ride? since you are still using factory springs ride didn't change....
but if you go past a 33in tire i would use a dual shock set up on the steering!
couldn't steer mine with factory stabilizer and 35s. drove like a drunk-man....
all over the road!!!
you gonna do anything to rear???
had to go up another 1in on mine after doing the front but she's level now!!!

yes i want to have it level or a little higher in the rear. i tow a pretty large toy hauler. i used to have a 5.5 inch on my 00 f250 but didnt like the ride or how small the tires 35s looked with the lift. did you notice a big power differance with the 35s?

i got a Fiver thats 36ft long & is right at 13,000lbs wet. i get abt 2-3 inches of
sag on the rear when hooked, but remember i'm dead level w/ no load. i've been
debating on a set of lift bags for rear to help with this but still thinking????
people think that your truck is broken when its hooked up and they pull up beside you at a light, then you mash it and leave them at the bottom of the mountain scratching!!!!
i put a 4 pos flip in right after the 35s so i'd be lying if i told you anything about power..... you will lose fuel mileage though , but i can hack it!!!

EDMGUY69,

Do the bags, you won't regret it. I pull a 37' 5th wheel w/ my lifted F250 and it was night and day after installing the air bags. They weren't that difficult. I was level w/out them and now am about 1.5" higher in the rear running min pressure for the bags, which is the way I wanted it.

I'm also running the 3" Edge kit. I was very pleased w/ the components and it came w/ everything except adjustable track bar, which I recommend. It has the Bilsteins w/ the kit. Great shocks.
