I just ordered the Zone 2.5 leveling kit mainly because it comes with the trac bar. Between a fellow member on here, and reading forum after forum on leveling kits im getting nervous. The other member here said the front went up a lot more than the rear with 2 inch blocks. Members on other forums are saying the 2.5 leveling kit (all brands) are making there trucks level with the 4 inch rear blocks. Im not a fan of level, but also not a fan of a massive amount of rake. I do tow, so I need a little higher in the rear to accomadate for the weight to make it level when towing. So heres why im getting worried, member here+members elsewhere=4 inch block in rear and it will sit level with 2.5 kit.
Can guys on here that have any leveling kits (spring pack mainly) post up pictures of your trucks. Brief rundown, brand, what rear blocks, ect.
I don't have any really good pics, but I have a 2.7" mini spring pack, running 315-75-16's Unloaded still has a slight rake, albeit not much. Stock 350 Rear Blocks.
Here is the same setup but with the 265-75-16's that I put on to tow longer distances, this was at RRE last year.
Just based on yours, my front is going to be higher than the rear. May need to get some blocks on the way, and prob go with 5 inch ones to have a little more rake. If I go to the 5 inch blocks, 3 inch lift in the rear will I need new shocks right away?
Bigalspsd I noticed a 5th wheel travel trailer in one of your pics, did you have to flip the axles on the trailer?
I have not yet, it seems to work just fine, sits relatively level, could be a little better I suppose, this pic is actually parked slightly uphill and the squat on the rear appears exaggerated more than what it really is.
Anymore pictures to get me more worried? Im already figuring ill have to get bigger blocks for the rear, just dont want to order now and get something to big.
Pro comp makes a 2” leveling kit for our trucks that comes with track bar, shocks and leaf springs for front. Www.4 wheelparts.com
Ive already ordered a kit, just looking for pictures since everywhere I read people are saying the 2.5 kits are leveling the truck with a 4 inch block in the rear. I only have a 2 inch, so im looking for pics to see if im going to need bigger blocks.
Did you go with a slider 5th wheel hitch or gooseneck conversion?
I run a gooseneck adapter I know most of the world frowns upon them, but most of what I hook up is GN. I am actually working on building a receiver plate that will fit and lock into my Drop 'n Lock GN hitch to accept a 5th wheel hitch to keep the haters at bay LOL
Sorry Pin I actually am going to go out and take a pic next to the '07 bone stock 4X4 F250 so you can see the rake a little better, give me a few.
