Bad PCM?
Hi everyone, thanks for the help I've received here in the past few weeks.
However I have another one. On my 93 F-150 5.0 EFI AOD I'm getting codes:
#84 EVR Selenoid Circuit Failure.
#33 EGR Valve Position Sensor or Pressure
Feedback Sensor indicates EGR valve is not opening or not seated properly. (Closed)
I swapped the EGR and EVP with a know working system.
Purchased a new EVR and I'm still getting same codes. I unplugged the PCM and checked pin 33 and sig ret. line to EVR - No opens or shorts.
Could this mean my PCM is faulty? I called and the Dealership said $225.00 - $235.00
Thanks for any help.

Do you have a code scanner? If so, then there should be a section on clearing the codes from the memory. I think this is what you need to do. If you don't have a reader, then pull off one of the battery cables. This should also clear the codes out of your computer. You do have to leave the cable off for about 10-15 minutes I think in order for the codes to clear. (like I said "I think")
Clearing the codes should help with your problem. I know mine seems to run better, when I disconnect the battery whenever I'm working on something electrical on it.
Hope this helps.
