I have a '93 f150 5.0, I had a new trans put in a month ago. The problem that
I have is when I sit and idle (like at a drive thru window) my truck wants to stall. I have replaced the plugs and wires and rotor and cap. Also surges aroung 45 to 50 mph. Any suggestions?..thanks
It sounds like a vaccuum leak to me. I'd check all your vaccuum lines to make sure they were reconnected (correctly.)
If everything seems OK, check for leaks by spraying WD-40 or carb cleaner near potential leaks. The idle will speed up if there's a leak (but be careful not to do this near electronics or the hot exhaust)
