Question Needhelp with headers

I had bought a pair of Flowtech headers and I want to put them in now that I have more time but I have a 1996 Ford bronco 351L Auto trans and the thing is I cant get in from the toip to the Exhaust mainfolds on the passangerside and if these headers dont fit I can return them as long as there not scratched up so I was thinking to remove the alt to get to the mainfold but has anyone found an easier way of getting shorty headers on with out damaging them if so please repost thank you

Haven't seen the Flowtech design but the Bassani shorty will slip in from the top with the purge cannister removed. You have to take some extra time to get the tubing from the smog pump removed as well. When removing the manifold, its easier to just let it drop out the bottom.

Are the flowtech headers ceramic coated? How much are they? Let me know how well the fit and if you think they helped. Thanks.

Hey BroncoBillyBob whwhen you said you had broke the EGR valve was that the pipe that screws into the header or is the part on top of the pipe cause I finally got them in and I noticed when I took out the exhaust manifold that the EGR pipe had some cracks in the welding please post back

the pipe should connect from the exhaust manifold directly to the underside of the EGR valve. so what part is not connecting correctly?

Thats whats I thought till I called him back and asked him to check the information to see if it was right sure enough it wasI tried looking for a coupling to convert thesizes but no luck and get this I went to home depot cause I figured they have something in the plumbing section they did but it was 1 or 2 sizes tro small I asked one of the guys there if they had anything bigger and if I wasnt seeing it and he said nope but you could try this and he brings me to the PVC section and gives me apiece of PVC and said that it should do the trick I looked at him with a blank stare laughed and asked him if he was kidding? Nope it should do the trick so I just turned around and left then got stopped at the door and was asked if I paid for what I had in my hand And I replied with I asked him how much they usally charge for an EGR valve and an EGR pipe and left
