After reading many different posts. Simple yes or no would end this. Do 35'x12.5's fit a Stock(NO leveling kit) 2005 F-350 and stock rims? Truck will be used for minor off-roading, mostly road travel.

The only thing the off road pkg gives you that is different from a 4x4 is skid plates , rancho branded shocks, steering stabilizer, oh and the sticker no other advantage unless somethin changed in 2005

Thanks for the info. I didnt learn anything yet today so now I did and can go to bed. I bought my truck used and it came with the "Off Road Package" also had 35's on it too. Rubbed a little bit at the back of the wheel well when really beating on it at the trails.
Yes they fit. I've been running BFG MT 35x12.5 on the factory 18" wheels for a month now. They don't even get close to rubbing. I honestly think that with the 2" DR levelling kit I'm about to install I could fit 37's I think the key is whether or not you use after market wheels with a large amount of offset.

Do you do any off-roading or anything. Also, do you have any pictures, i would love to see how they look.
They fit on my truck! 3000 miles so far and no problems. Have had it in the sand dunes, the woods (dead logs and such) and the mud boggy area of my farm. No rubbing at all even at full compression while turning. There are pics in my gallery.

They look good, is your truck leveled? It looks like it is. Also, what do you think you will get out of them as far as how many miles until they are bald?

No kit was used but my truck does have the Snow Plow Prep Pkg. I have not been able to get a definite answer as to the difference in the front springs when this pkg is ordered. Some say that they are the same height but just stiffer/higher rate of compression. While others say they are an 1" to an 1.5" higher with the same rate of compression as the stock springs. My dealer was no help in that matter so if anyone knows please pass it on.
The tires still look new after 3000 miles, 95% of which has been highway/street driving. The lugs/tread are 21/32" deep so they should last pretty long. I would expect to get 30,000+ miles on them.
I did see that info just before I read your reply. I do not know what the coil code is for the snow plow pkg but I am sure it is rated for a higher operational weight capacity than the normal F350. Taking this info into consideration one could see why my truck appears to have a leveling kit on it since I do not carry the extra weight of the plow hardward on the front. The coil heights listed are "at operational weight" i.e. with the plow hardware installed. Even the tire guys that did my install did not think that the 35's would fit. They said that there were several other guys in 05 350s that tried but failed. They were amazed that mine fit so well and without any hint of rubbing.
