Correct bolts for 215 OHV

I need help with finding correct bolts for my 215 OHV. They should the same as for the 223.

I need four bolts that connect to the back of the block (where the bellhousing would attach) so that I could attach the block to an engine stand. It seems that I need metric bolts as the standard bolts don't fit. I bought 3/8" bolts and they slide in and out of the holes. Next size up, 7/16", is too large. I've tried both bolts in coarse and fine thread.

Does any one have any clue as to what is the proper size (thickness) of the bolts needed? Any idea where I can get some?

Thanks, Ilya

So, if I read correctly its a 13/32" thick bolt. What does NC stand for?

Thanks, Ilya

NC is National Coarse thread (NF is fine thread)....that sure is a weird size, I've never seen/heard of it before.

Parts books says 7/16 x 14 x 3" , 13/32 is 1/32 more than 7/16".
