2 days ago my check engine light came on while driving but went back off while still driving. The engine lost almost all of its power till i hit the gas. Today i was able to get the codes run. All the thing said was "passed"
-no codes
what gives?
95 f350 psd, no chips, straight piped.
btw, i just got it straight piped three days ago, i wonder if that is affecting something
probably not a good code reader. what i mean is not just any old obd2 scanner will work on our trucks. actron 9140 works and there are also some coputer based ones that work also. go to a few parts stores and ask to use there scanner. keep going to different places until you find one that works.
hmmm got me stumped on this one, seems like it defueled over something. seems like it lost the injection pressure sensor for a second threw a CEL and the signal came back and all was good.
with the light coming on and going back off without turning the ignition off and back on i dont think its gonna store the code.
i would check your connections under the hood, clean battery terminals, check your ipr and ips connections and your valve cover connections, seems like an intermitten electrical issue to me.
