It's actually CF and it stands for Cleveland Foundry.

Does it look like this:

That's the Cleveland Foundry casting symbol.

They perform pretty darn good right out of the box but some bowl blending, port smoothing & polishing the combustion chamber will make them perform even better.

Nope its under one of the exhaust ports on the side of the head were the D1AE is , in big letters it has CB. If i could get my camera to work Id take a pic, might try to anyways. Off topic though I got to drive a 70 Mach 1 today with a 4v 351 and I must say I hope I can do what it does with a set of 2v's but it was basically stock with a cam. I just built a nice FE , but never a 335 series engine so Ill probably be askin alotta questons.

Is that CF only found on Cleveland engines because I was under the impression I had a 351M but when I saw that pic it looked familiar so I went and looked at my motor and sure enough there was a CF just like that on my intake manifold. So does that mean that I have a Cleveland or just the intake manifold off a Cleveland or what? Sorry to just jump in on this thread but Ive been trying for awhile to figure out what my truck has in it. Thanks

Nope, It just means that your engine was made in the same foundry

Actually it means that the intake manifold for your engine was cast at the Cleveland Foundry. Most engines are a mixtue of cast parts from different foundries.
