camper special?
77 f250 4x4 351m 4 spd (divorced t-case, later 77 or 77.5)
called a add in the paper, guy claims its a camper special,
what does this mean???
I drove buy it, it has sway bars on it.
been told it may have a dana 60 in it. true?
how do i tell a dana 60 from a dana 44???

yeah....I'm not sure about a 77 (probably a 77.5 since they are classed together for those years 77.5-79 for many of the parts) but mine, which IS a camper special, 79, has a D44. If you look in my gallery, there are 2 pics looking down at the knuckles. If you see how the steering arm has to go around the ball joint, D44. Look for Ivanribic's gallery. He has some 60 pics in his crossover steering section from the same view.
As for the camper special, I too did a lot of looking a while ago and as far as I can tell it usually just means it had stronger rear leafs for the extra hauling and 2 gas tanks. Mine has a 400 and 203 married case though.
