Driving back from Anchorage I got a few bug splats on the windshield. This is a pretty good sign that spring may actually be here now.
The wind was pretty bad in Anchorage and then it rained all the way from Eagle River to Denali Park. Nice dry roads from Healy to Fairbanks.

Spring is here in Palmer, 3 times this week I gave blood to the "state bird". Enjoying a nice afternoon nap when I feel a sharp ***** to the center of the forhead.....gave myself a healthy slap, and splattered a durn skeeter sending blood everwhere....so much for my nap......time for the bug dope!!
