2006 Expedition Fleet Only Options

2006 Expedition Fleet Only Options
In looking at the ordering guide for 2006 Expeditions, it looks there are some fleet only options (skid plates and 130 amp alternator) that are not available on regular consumer vehicles., although it does look like skid plates are an option on the consumer King Ranch version. If one wanted to order an Eddie Bauer or Limited Expedition and wanted to get skid plates, is there no way to do it without being a validated fleet customer?

That the way I'm reading it, although you could pick them up as part of the Off-Road pkg on an XLT/XLT Sport. There's a way to bypass that, but it can extend lead times into the next millennia.
