On friday of last week, I was outside playing with my quad, and I started feeling a dryness in my throat. since then, my voice has gone to a complete hoarse state and I can barely talk. Its been goin on for about a week now, and I'v tried all the tricks i know
I have gargled salty water
tea with honey
using my humidifier
breathing with my mouth open ect...
Anybody have any other tricks? Its realy annoying that I cant talk!
Yep, I am on my second week with whatever is going around. The first week, I couldn't talk at all. Last week the doctor put me on steroids to get rid of the inflammation. Voice started to com back within a day, although it is still not all the way back. Neighbor had something similar and ended up with pneumonia. I do suggest as was stated before, see the doctor.
i lost my voice a few weeks ago, to the point i had nothing for 2 days, and for about a week it was mostly gone. started with a sore throat, that went away in a day, and then the voice took a downhill turn. i let it be and it started coming back. just try not to do a lot of talking, save your voice and it will come back.
